Background John Mattson is in a development phase where a lot is happening within the company. They are now strengthening the team with an additional engaged, competent, and service-oriented employee.

As a Property Technician, you will be part of an engaged management team, and together you will play an important role in creating comfort, security, and development in John Mattson's areas, primarily in the southern suburbs but also in the northern suburbs. You are the tenants' main contact during their residency, and one of your most important tasks is to help create a safe and efficient living environment from move-in to move-out.

You are used to working independently, taking your own initiatives, and making decisions. At the same time, you enjoy being part of a team and supporting your colleagues when needed. John Mattson offers you a varied job with both practical and administrative tasks where customer interaction and problem-solving are part of the daily routine.

In this position, you will be part of the management department and report to the area manager. The headquarters is currently located in Lidingö, but this role will focus on properties in the southern suburbs. They are a smaller organization, which means that your skills may also be needed in other areas as they are geographically flexible in their roles.

Main Responsibilities

• Contact with tenants
• Receive, perform, and follow up on maintenance requests.
• Practically perform and plan for internal and external maintenance as well as repairs.
• Plan and conduct apartment inspections during move-ins and move-outs.
• Plan, order, and follow up on repair and ongoing maintenance services from framework contractors for internal care.
• Perform systematic supervision and rounds of the properties.
• Actively propose maintenance plans for the properties.

Experience and Competence

• To thrive in the role of Property Technician, we see that you have relevant foundational competence in the form of a high school education and/or vocational training in a craft or service profession.
• You are generally handy and have a basic understanding of housing and how a property functions.
• You have the ability to plan and organize your work as efficiently as possible.
• You are computer literate and have an interest in digital development as administrative work is done digitally.
• Good language skills in Swedish and English are a requirement as our tenants are both Swedish and international customers. Other language skills are a plus.
• Driver's license B
• It is an advantage if you have a certification in electrical, plumbing, or ventilation.

Additional Information:

Start date: April 1

Working hours: 40h/week Mon-Fri 07-16.00

You will be based in the Slakthus area, but you should be flexible and also able to work in the northern suburbs and Lidingö as needed.

This is a consulting assignment where you will be employed by us at Arena Personal and then leased to John Mattson for a period of 6 months with a chance of extension or takeover by the client.
